About the Role We are seeking an experienced
Salesforce Developer to join a dynamic team within a leading retail organization. This role focuses on designing and implementing customized Salesforce solutions that support large-scale operations and customer engagement strategies. You will serve as the subject matter expert for Salesforce architecture, ensuring the platform meets both functional and non-functional requirements while maintaining security and scalability.
Job Description As a Salesforce Developer, you will:
- Own the Salesforce architecture across Sales Cloud, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- Design and develop solutions using Lightning Web Components (LWC) , Aura, and Visualforce.
- Apply Flow-first automation principles, including migrating legacy Workflow Rules and Process Builder automations to Flow.
- Lead integrations with external systems using APIs and middleware for secure and reliable data exchange.
- Implement modern CI/CD pipelines using Salesforce DevOps Center, Git, and automated testing frameworks (Apex unit tests, Jest for LWC).
- Transition from legacy Change Set practices to source-driven deployments and version control best practices.
- Enforce Lightning Web Security (LWS) standards, CSP compliance, and secure coding practices.
- Collaborate with product teams and business stakeholders to align Salesforce capabilities with organizational goals.
Qualifications Required - 7+ years of software development experience, including at least one full-cycle Salesforce implementation.
- 3+ years of Salesforce Sales Cloud experience.
- 3–5 years of experience in Agile/Scrum delivery; Scrum certification is a plus
- Strong proficiency in Salesforce DX, sf CLI, and VS Code with Salesforce Extensions.
- Expertise in Apex, SOQL, LWC (JavaScript, HTML, CSS), and ability to maintain legacy Visualforce and Aura components.
- Experience with API integrations and DevOps practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
Preferred - Experience with third-party Salesforce applications such as DocuSign and FinancialForce/Certinia.
- Working knowledge of database scripting (e.g., MySQL) and intermediate proficiency in JavaScript and C#.
- Familiarity with CRM Analytics (formerly Einstein Analytics/Tableau CRM) and Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (formerly Pardot).
