Average pay is $67,000/yr. Drivers willing to work overtime can earn up to $90,000+. And this does not include unemployment benefits collected during winter months.

Ready Mix Truck Driver Duties and Responsibilities

• Load your truck with ready mix concrete
• Drive the concrete to the job site
• Help unload the mixed concrete
• Inspect your truck for mechanical issues
• Deliver properly slumped ready mixed concrete

Ready Mix Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
• CDL Class B with Air Brakes and ability to drive manual transmission( preferred )
• Concrete work experience (preferred)
• Physical strength to lift heavy chutes and climb truck ladder
