We are looking for a Full-Time, Yard Hand and Forklift Driver with boat detailing in the off season to help us in delivering award-winning customer service and creating a unique and memorable experience for our customers. This position will assist the Marina Manager in ensuring the success of the Marina at our Meredith location. Job Summary: The Yard Hand and Forklift Driver will report to the Marina Manager and assist in overseeing the day-to-day operations of the Marina. In this position, you will be part of a team that plays a critical role in the seamless service we provide to the customers of our marina. Duties/Responsibilities:·

• Move boats using tractors and marina forklifts.
• Assist in launching and racking boats.
• Transport trailered boats using pick-up trucks to other locations.
• Inspect heavy equipment for damages.
• Remain up to date on OSHA and company guidelines and ensure they are being followed at the marina.
• Keep up to date on all heavy marina equipment certifications.
• Report all equipment damages, accidents, and problems to the Marina Manager.
• Clean boats according to company standards and/or client specifications, which may include performing detail inspections, thoroughly washing, buffing, and waxing exteriors, vacuuming, steaming, and deodorizing interiors.
• Operating steamers, hoses, vacuums, and other equipment to meet service expectations.
• Using cleaning, protective, and restorative agents to maintain and enhance the appearance of boats.
• Other duties as needed.

Qualifications:·

• Minimum 2 years’ experience using heavy equipment.
• Valid Driver’s license, required.
• Clean driving record, required.
• Experience using SpeedyDock, preferred.
• Marina Forklift experience, preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Thrives in a team environment.

Physical Requirements:·

• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to sit or stand for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in various weather conditions.

Education:· * Minimum of High School degree or equivalent. Job Type: * Full-time Pay: * $18.00 - $24.00 per hour Benefits:
