If you want an entry-level position that provides stability, immediate purpose, a clear path for internal growth, and the ability to directly impact a patient's experience-apply now and take that crucial first step into your healthcare journey. + **The Role: Part Time Night Shift Patient Transporter** + **Location: PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center, Vancouver, WA** + **Salary:** $20.53-$30.86/hour, plus applicable shift differential pay. **This position will be scheduled 64 hours every 2 week pay period and follows a rotating schedule:** + Friday & Saturday: 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM + Sunday & Monday: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM + Tuesday: Off + Wednesday & Thursday: 8:30 PM - 7:00 AM + Friday through Thursday: Off **What You'll Be Doing: The Heartbeat of Patient Flow** Your job is the essential **human connection** that ensures every patient gets where they need to be, safely and with care. This is a **highly active role** that keeps our hospital running smoothly. + **Be a Patient Guide:** Safely transport patients throughout the hospital using wheelchairs or stretchers. + **Provide Comfort:** Be present for the patient; use your time during transport to check on their comfort and ease any anxiety. + **Coordinate Critical Care:** Move time-sensitive materials like lab specimens, blood, and equipment between departments. + **Support the Clinical Team:** Help keep patient care areas ready by moving supplies, records, and linen. + **Maintain Safety:** Clean and sanitize transport equipment (like wheelchairs) to maintain infection control standards. **Your Impact on Patient Outcomes** Your role is an absolutely critical, **unsung hero** of patient safety and satisfaction.
