Transactional Tax Associate Position

Location: San Francisco

Salary: $250,000 - $325,000 base salary (commensurate of experience, it is rare that one gets hired at the higher range of that salary)

Schedule: 1,900-2050 hours yearly

• A leading national law firm is currently seeking to recruit a Mid-Level Associate with three to six years of specialized transactional tax experience for its established Tax Practice in Northern California. The appointed individual will be responsible for providing expert strategic tax counsel to a diverse clientele, advising on complex matters including fund structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other intricate transactions. Key responsibilities will encompass the rigorous analysis of tax structures, the meticulous conduct of due diligence, the drafting of sophisticated legal documentation, and the collaborative engagement with various other practice groups within the firm.
• The ideal candidate will possess a Juris Doctor degree, be admitted to the bar (with California admission highly preferred), and have accumulated substantial transactional tax experience within a highly regarded legal practice. Essential skills include adept deal management, superior drafting capabilities, exceptional communication and negotiation proficiencies, and advanced analytical acumen. A comprehensive understanding of the seamless integration of tax considerations within broader strategic objectives is imperative.
