We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Tax Resolution Attorney to join our growing team! Key Responsibilities:
Serve as a trusted advisor to clients by establishing contact with tax agencies and managing case files to resolve back tax debt.
Communicate regularly with clients and team members to provide updates and guidance on tax matters.
Draft opinion letters, responses to IRS inquiries, and other technical memoranda.
Collaborate with clients, including their finance and accounting teams, to address tax issues effectively.
Negotiate tax relief options such as offers in compromise, payment plans, levy releases, and more.
Analyze financial documents to determine the best resolution options based on the client's financial situation.
Help clients achieve timely resolutions by working with the IRS and state tax agencies to secure collection holds and release garnishments or levies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Must be a licensed Enrolled Agent with active credentials.
At least 2 years of experience as an Enrolled Agent, with specific experience in tax resolution matters (offer in compromise, installment agreements, levy releases, etc.).
Strong written and verbal communication skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service.
Excellent multitasking and organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with tax transcript analysis and financial document review.
Ability to maintain organized case notes and provide realistic timelines to clients and team members.
