The Supervising Toxicologist (Managerial) is the Branch Chief over the Human Health Assessment Branch and oversees the most sensitive and complex human health assessments and evaluations, including pesticide exposure assessment, human health risk assessment, risk evaluation, and pesticide toxicology data review. The incumbent plans, organizes, directs, and manages the complex program and administrative activities of the Branch. The incumbent provides scientific, technical, and professional guidance to staff responsible for planning and implementing branch programs. The Branch Chief will be in a position to confer with department leadership and have a direct impact on decision making on highly technical and sometimes sensitive human health and toxicological issues, as well as in situations where rapid and unambiguous action is required by the department.You will find additional information about the job in the .
