Job Description

The Senior Industrial Electrician is responsible for safely maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across multiple aggregate facilities in West Texas, including Lubbock, Slaton, Vealmoor, Odessa, and parts of Eastern New Mexico. This role supports plant operations and capital projects, ensuring consistent uptime and performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting up to 480V across multiple plant locations
• Maintain and repair motors, transformers, control circuits, lighting, DC drives, and VFDs
• Support capital projects by collaborating with engineering and contracted vendors
• Research and recommend system improvements for greater plant safety, productivity, and capacity
• Lead by example in following company and MSHA safety standards, policies, and procedures
• Provide on-site support and occasional over-the-road travel to regional facilities

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial electrical environments (aggregates, mining, oil & gas, or refinery)
• 2-year technical degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Certified or licensed electrician preferred
• Proven experience with PLC systems and motor control troubleshooting
• Must be self-motivated and capable of working independently
• Valid drivers license with a clean DMV record (no suspensions or failures to appear)
