In this role, you will play a vital part in the production of high-quality sheet metal components, contributing to a variety of projects that make a difference. Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings to determine specifications and requirements.
  • Utilize various tools and equipment, including hardware, brakes, and assembly, to fabricate sheet metal components.
  • Assemble and install fabricated parts, ensuring quality and adherence to safety standards.
  • Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following all safety protocols.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in metal fabrication is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sheet metal fabricator or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of metal properties and fabrication techniques.
  • Proficient in using hand tools and machinery related to sheet metal work.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies.
