Job Description

Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced React developer to support our digital product teams and provide technical leadership and mentoring to our current web development team. Your responsibilities will include development of new customer-facing product capabilities and components and support of Marvin’s React environment.

To be successful as a Senior React Developer, you should have proven front-end development skills and the ability and desire to teach others about React development best practices, patterns, etc.

Highlights of your role:
  • Design and develop new and engaging customer-facing components and applications.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines.
  • Maintain and update project dependencies as well as fix any conflicts.
  • Collaborate with the rest of the development team to design and implement front-end architecture that is scalable, maintainable, and composable.
  • Integrate frontend React components with various backend REST APIs.
  • Maintain existing React components, including fixing bugs.
  • Mentor less-experienced team members.
  • Supporting testing and quality assurance activities.
You're a good fit if you have (or if you can):
  • 5+ years of experience building applications with React.
  • Experience developing React applications with TypeScript.
  • Strong understanding of fundamental React concepts and principles, including functional components, hooks, and the Context API.
  • Experience with Git and understanding of common branching strategies.
  • Know and understand best practices around user interaction.
  • Experience with cloud platforms like Azure and Vercel.
  • Experience working with UX Design and/or working with UX designers preferred.
  • Experience working with digital product teams in an Agile environment preferred.
