Senior Financial Analyst job at Careerscape New York, NY, US

Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join our remote team. You will be responsible for financial modeling, forecasting, and strategic analysis to support business decisions across the organization.

This is a fully remote position based in New York. You'll work closely with leadership on high-visibility projects that directly impact company strategy and growth initiatives.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of financial analysis experience and is comfortable working independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain complex financial models for strategic planning
Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports for executive leadership
Analyze business performance metrics and identify key trends
Partner with department heads on budgeting and forecasting
Create executive dashboards and KPI tracking systems
Support M&A due diligence and integration activities
Lead variance analysis and provide actionable recommendations
Present financial insights to C-suite stakeholders

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field required
Minimum 5 years of financial analysis experience
Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle
CPA or CFA certification preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
MBA is a plus
