Overview:
Our client is an established consulting engineering firm that is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join their growing team in the Seattle market!

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Design the electrical systems, power distribution, lighting and lighting controls, emergency power, UPS, and renewable energy systems
• Assist meetings with owners, clients, or architects as needed
• Review contractor submittals to determine conformance with contract documents
• Evaluate, select, and apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria to perform tasks
• Research and analyze customer design proposals specification, manuals, and other data to evaluate the feasibility, cost, and maintenance requirements of designs or applications
• Identify and resolve conflicts as they come up
• Create and maintain customer relationships

Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in consulting engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering from an ABET accredited institution
• P.E. or E.I.T.
• Experience in MEP Design, specifically focused in Federal projects
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• AutoCAD and REVIT software experience
