About the Role We are hiring on behalf of a leading cloud services consultancy that partners with enterprise clients to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative cloud solutions. This contract role supports their Platform Team, providing architectural leadership across AWS engagements. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and external partners to design and guide the implementation of cloud environments that meet business and technical objectives.
This is a remote, U.S.-based opportunity with immediate project involvement and potential for long-term engagement.
Job Description As a Senior AWS Solutions Architect, you will:
- Serve as the technical lead for AWS architecture across multiple client projects.
- Lead pre-sales engagements, advising on solution design and AWS best practices.
- Support post-sales delivery, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure AWS architectures.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to validate designs and oversee implementation.
- Conduct technical workshops, design sessions, and stakeholder presentations.
- Provide consultative guidance to partners building internal AWS capabilities.
- Maintain documentation and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
- Support internal AWS initiatives during non-customer-facing periods.
Qualifications Required Qualifications - 7+ years of experience in cloud architecture or solution engineering, with a focus on AWS.
- Proven track record designing and implementing enterprise-grade AWS solutions.
- Deep understanding of AWS services including networking, security, compute, storage, and identity.
- Experience in both pre-sales advisory and post-sales delivery roles.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, especially with non-technical stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex issues and provide sound architectural direction.
- Must be U.S.-based with communication proficiency equivalent to U.S. citizenship standards.
Preferred Qualifications - AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional (or Associate).
- Experience supporting enterprise clients within large-scale cloud programs.
- Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (GCP experience is a plus).
- Experience mentoring or advising internal engineering teams.
