Senior Accountant Location: Deerfield, IL (Hybrid: 3 days/week onsite)
Compensation: $95,000–$115,000 + 10% Bonus

Key Responsibilities: - Own and execute full month-end and year-end close cycles
- Prepare and review complex journal entries, reconciliations, and accruals
- Develop and deliver financial reports and KPI dashboards to business leaders
- Perform variance analysis, identify cost drivers, and support budgeting/forecasting
- Lead cross-functional initiatives with finance, operations, and supply chain
- Play a key role in inventory accounting, ERP optimization, and cost accounting
- Participate in cash flow analysis, covenant compliance, and FX reporting
- Assist in SOX compliance, internal controls testing, and process documentation
- Identify and implement continuous improvement and automation opportunities
- Mentor junior staff and support audit processes
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 3–7+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Background in public accounting , public company , or product-based environment preferred
- CPA strongly preferred or on track
- Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and variance analysis
- Proficient in Excel and familiar with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Strong communication, leadership potential, and desire for visibility in a lean team
