Job Description

The Nurse independently practices in a clinical setting, providing both routine and complex care while managing long-term goals and contingencies.

• Demonstrates self-leadership and collaborates with others, aligning with core competency expectations.
• Utilizes the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation—for patient care, addressing emotional, cultural, and social needs.
• Administers medications and treatments per protocol, monitors outcomes, and documents patient information thoroughly.
• Educates patients and families, identifying learning needs and resources.
• Requires a BSN (preferred), RN licensure, BLS certification, and preferably 1 year of related experience.
• Certifications such as NRP and STABLE are required within specified timeframes; ACLS preferred.
• Work schedule is from 7AM to 7PM, full-time. New hires attend orientation and complete competency validations within designated periods.
