Job Description
The Nurse provides independent, comprehensive care in a clinical setting, demonstrating expertise in assessing, diagnosing, planning, and evaluating patient needs, while delegating tasks appropriately.
- Meets competencies related to self-leadership and team leadership, ensuring high-quality nursing practice aligned with ANA standards.
- Addresses complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families, administering treatments and medications per protocol, monitoring effects, and documenting care.
- Assesses learning needs, providing education to patients and families, and identifying resources to support patient care.
- Requires a BSN (preferred), RN license, BLS, and relevant certifications such as NRP and STABLE, with experience in perinatal or similar settings preferred.
- Attends orientation, completes competency validation, and maintains required certifications within specified grace periods.
- Works full-time shifts from 7AM to 7PM, with additional requirements for new or experienced RNs based on credential timelines.
