For over 50 years, The Darcy Company has installed and serviced air conditioning, refrigeration, and refrigeration alarm systems for a wide range of clients in the commercial food industry across the New England area. The Darcy Company provides 24/7 emergency service to their clients.

Job Description

We are looking for HVACR Technicians that lives within the CT, MA, NH and VT areas. The HVAC Technician will apply their technical skills and knowledge to install and service HVACR Equipment in a commercial setting. Candidates must have general maintenance knowledge on how to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. They are also responsible for providing timely and quality repairs of customers' equipment (single condensing units, parallel racks, self-contained, Heat Pumps, Heating Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Gas Furnaces, etc) while maintaining the highest level of customer service.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years’ experience with current HVAC license preferred
  • Strong communication skills
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
  • Ensures high quality of work and adherence to schedule
  • Ability to work in confined spaces & in all types of weather
  • Ability to pass drug screen & background test
  • Universal EPA Certification required
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions
