You will help individuals build recovery capital, create personalized wellness plans, and connect with healthcare providers, support services, and community-based recovery networks. You�ll serve as a mentor and advocate, empowering others to find their own unique path to sustained recovery. � Key Responsibilities: �� Provide recovery coaching services to a minimum of 20 individuals �� Use motivational interviewing to foster self-empowerment and inspire change �� Support individuals in creating wellness plans, setting SMART goals, and building coping strategies �� Promote recovery capital through access to healthcare, housing, income, and community support �� Conduct weekly coaching sessions on individual need �� Deliver community-based support, including at least one in-person meeting per month �� Offer education around relapse prevention, harm reduction, and healthy decision-making �� Document coaching services in alignment with program and agency standards �� Maintain active engagement with the recovery community and provide information sessions � What We Offer: �� Meaningful Mission-Driven Work: Support others on their recovery journey with compassion �� Career Development and Growth Opportunities: 1/3 of our roles are filled by internals �� Strong Culture of Inclusion: BHN values lived experience and diverse perspectives �� Comprehensive Benefits Package: Competitive pay, paid time off, health insurance, and more � Who You Are: �� High School Diploma or GED (required) �� Minimum of 2 years in sustained recovery from addiction (required) �� Completion of Recovery Coach Academy and Ethical Considerations training (required or completed within 4 weeks of hire) �� Certified Addiction Recovery Coach (CARC) or working toward certification within 1�2 years of hire (required) �� Familiar with a wide range of recovery supports (peer-based, 12-step, harm reduction, etc.) �� Valid driver�s license and reliable vehicle (required) �� Knowledge of culturally responsive care and commitment to trauma-informed principles � How to Apply: If you�re ready to help others find hope and healing through recovery, we�d love to hear from you.
