About Us

Interviews Chat is an AI-powered platform helping people ace their job interviews in 32 languages around the world. It features Interview Copilot for real-time support during online interviews, and an Interview Prep module to help you practice tailored questions. Built with Next.js, React, Node.js, and OpenAI, the platform is growing fast! We've recently launched a Chrome extension and a desktop app — and now we’re ready to expand into mobile. That’s where you come in.

Role Overview

We’re looking for a skilled React Native Developer to help us build our first mobile app. You’ll play a key role in translating the core functionality of Interviews Chat into a fast, intuitive mobile experience. Working closely with the founder and a lean, driven remote team, you’ll take ownership of the mobile codebase and help bring our AI assistant to users on the go.

What You’ll Do

• Build and maintain the Interviews Chat mobile app using React Native.
• Collaborate with the existing team to bring Interview Copilot and Interview Prep to mobile.
• Implement smooth, native-feeling UI and seamless integration with backend APIs.
• Optimize performance for both iOS and Android platforms.
• Handle edge cases around audio, permissions, and background activity (e.g. for meeting-based interviews).
• Test, debug, and iterate quickly based on user feedback.

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of experience building mobile apps with React Native.
• Strong command of JavaScript/TypeScript, React, and mobile performance optimization.
• Familiarity with mobile-specific challenges: push notifications, audio access, app permissions, App Store / Play Store submission.
• Experience integrating REST or GraphQL APIs.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment.
• Bonus: experience with speech-to-text, OpenAI, or real-time data handling.
• Bonus: previous work on tools or products related to productivity, video/audio communication, or AI.
