Job Description

Sunlighten is on the lookout for a React Developer to help us build digital tools that support healthier lives! In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cutting-edge web applications using React/Next.js/Node.js. You’ll work closely with a collaborative, cross-functional team to deliver high-quality, user-friendly solutions that support both our customers and internal teams. Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Develop responsive, user-friendly, and visually appealing web interfaces using React.
  • Collaborate with design and back-end developers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
  • Optimize application performance by improving load times, reducing memory usage, and enhancing scalability.
  • Debug and resolve issues in the application during deployment or in response to user feedback.
  • Stay up to date with new tools, technologies, and frameworks to stay competitive.
  • Participate in design reviews and pair programming sessions to ensure consistency across teams.
  • Work on feature branches to implement new features while maintaining existing functionality.

Requirements

  • 5 Years of Development Experience in React
  • 5 Years of Agile Development Experience
  • Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience
  • Strong proficiency in React development (e.g., React, TypeScript, or Next.js).
  • Familiarity with modern web technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript frameworks.
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git) for code management.
