DESCRIPTION

We are looking to hire a Product Marketing Manager who will help define our smart home engagement marketing strategy and build programs that help customers maximize the value they get from Alexa connected smart devices. You will be joining a passionate, fun team where everyone is focused on delivering significant impact on consumers’ lives. You have demonstrated experience in driving results on a new or current product, have an interest in tech launches and development, and want to improve the customer experience on Amazon.

In this role you will be responsible for creating marketing plans that deepen customers' relationship with Alexa through smart home control. You will be excited by helping customers of all types discover new ways to use Alexa to manage smart devices. A successful candidate will be expected to think and act both strategically and tactically - from the creation of plans, to the execution, and analysis of business impact. You will be will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, and able to think big while paying careful attention to detail. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the company. The ideal candidate is a passionate marketing leader who has a track record of achieving (and measuring) great results through innovative programs and campaigns. They will have launched email campaigns with strong performance and have a deep understanding of customer engagement, but have generalist experience on a broad range of marketing channels.

This marketing leader needs to be passionate about measuring results and ROI and not driving short term results at the expense of long term gain. They will be known for trying new things and identifying areas of scale. Our ideal candidate will have a demonstrated ability to be creative, to initiate and launch effective marketing partnerships and programs, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be a vocal thought leader that is excited about innovation. Above all, this person must have a passion for understanding what drives customer behavior and the experience to turn those learnings into action, collaborating across prominent brands.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 4+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional programs or marketing campaigns from concept to completion
- Experience managing and measuring marketing performance in various channels
