Job Description

Role: Power BI Developer

Location: 100% Remote

Duration: 3 years Contract with extension for more 2 years

The candidate shall provide ongoing Business Intelligence (BI) development services with a focus on designing, developing, and maintaining interactive dashboards and reports using Microsoft Power BI. The candidate will also be responsible for automating workflows using Microsoft Power Apps and integrating solutions with SQL databases. Other BI tools may be utilized as needed based on project requirements.

Objectives:

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports to support data visualization needs.
• Design and implement workflow automations using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Establish and maintain connections between Power BI and SQL databases for real-time or scheduled data integration.
• Ensure data accuracy, performance optimization, and user accessibility in all BI solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver BI solutions aligned with business needs.

Minimum Experience: At least 5 years of experience in delivering similar services such as BI development, software development, or consulting in related technologies.

Technical Expertise:

Power BI: Proficiency in developing reports and dashboards using Power BI.

• SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL, including:
• Writing and using stored procedures
• Constructing joins
• Performing performance tuning
• Relational Databases: Experience working with and connecting BI tools to relational databases (like SQL Server, MySQL, etc.).
• Microsoft Power Platform:
• Experience using Power Apps for application development.
• Experience using Power Automate for automating workflows.

Communication Skills:

Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
