Podcast Marketing Internship

Location: Remote (USA-based or USA time zones preferred)

Start Date: June-July 2025 (flexible onboarding available)

Time Commitment: 20-25 hours/week

Compensation: Unpaid

Are you a digital marketing up-and-comer obsessed with podcasts and content creators? Want to learn and practice digital marketing, while working on a fast-growing, startup-focused podcast backed by real startup experts not theory?

This is your chance to learn marketing while doing it for a show built by entrepreneurs, for entrepreneurs. Youll get hands-on ownership, weekly 1-1 mentorship, and the ability to make a real impact in a short time. This internship is for someone ready to prove themselves and rapidly level up their marketing career.

The GrowthExpertz Funded, Now What?!Podcast is hosted by 20-year startup marketing veteran Andrew Lee Miller (). Each episode delivers no-fluff, hyper-actionable insights from startup founders, investors, and marketing pros who've scaled companies from zero to exit. Weve built a highly engaged audience of founders, operators, and marketers and now we want to scale even faster.

Were looking for a sharp, motivated intern to own and drive the digital marketing engine behind the show.

What Youll Do

• Practice and execute weekly marketing strategies to grow listenership and engagement
• Manage podcast content distribution across Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube etc
• Support influencer marketing, partnerships, and PR outreach to boost exposure
• Launch and manage paid ads (Meta, YouTube, Google well train you)
• Use SEO best practices for podcast titles, show notes, and website content
• Create and schedule email campaigns to build audience retention
• Track and analyze performance metrics to guide optimization
• Foster community interaction via comments, shares, and listener engagement
• Edit and publish new podcast episodes using cutting-edge AI tools (training provided)
• Conduct guest research and handle outreach via LinkedIn and email (well show you how)

What Were Looking For

• Someone with a deep knowledge of the best business podcasts.

• A strong passion for digital media, storytelling, and podcasting

• Hands-on experience with social media, content marketing, and audience growth

• Comfortable writing copy, editing audio/video (or willing to learn fast)

• Bonus if you have experience with email tools, SEO platforms, and paid media

• Self-starter mindset you take initiative and figure things out

• Able to dedicate 20-25 hours per week consistently

• Must be based in or aligned with U.S. time zones
