This Phlebotomist position requires a minimum of two years of experience (first-timers not accepted) and involves collecting blood samples in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting. The role includes on-call responsibilities and requires flexibility to float between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach locations. Weekend work will exceed every other weekend to meet department needs. Experience in a trauma center and familiarity with EPIC/handheld Rover devices are preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Collecting blood samples from patients.
- Adhering to all safety and infection control protocols.
- Processing and labeling specimens accurately.
- Maintaining accurate patient records.
- Floating between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach locations as needed.
- Responding to on-call requests.
- Working weekends, exceeding every other weekend.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- Minimum two years of experience as a Phlebotomist.
- Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification.
- Current CPT 1 certification.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using a handheld device (preferred: Rover).
- Trauma center experience (preferred).
- EPIC EMR experience (preferred).
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience in a trauma center.

Special Considerations:
- On-call responsibilities are required.
- Floating between Mission Viejo and Laguna Beach locations is mandatory.
- Weekend work will exceed every other weekend.
- Pending licenses are not accepted.
- RTO (return to office) must be included at time of submission.
- Facility allows one call-off per two-week pay period.
Scheduling:
- Primarily night shift (0400 start).
- Schedule may vary based on department needs.
- Weekend work will exceed every other weekend.
- Block scheduling is at the manager's discretion.
