Job Description

Senior Helpers has an immediate need for an Experienced Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Assistant (PCA), or Caregiver in Kennett Square. This opening is for a specific client in Kennett Square who needs support on Saturdays from 9 am-1 pm.

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license, reliable vehicle, and auto insurance
• Able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• TB Required: 2 Step PPD, QuantiFERON, or a Chest X-ray
• Social Security Card
• Must be able to work with male and female clients
• Comfortable with cats and dogs
• Comfortable with clients who smoke
• Able to take clients out in a personal vehicle for errands, appointments, outings, and procedures when required.

Job Duties:

(Job Duties are subject to change based on the client’s personalized care plans, but are not limited to:)

• Companionship and conversation
• Personal Care – showering, dressing, grooming, oral care, hair care, toileting, incontinence care.
• Light Housekeeping, Laundry, Linen, Mopping, Sweeping, Vacuuming.
• Meal Preparation
• Medication reminders
• Safety and fall precautions
• Transportation or escort – Errands, Shopping, Outings, Events, Family Gatherings, Doctor Appointments, Procedures.
