Job Summary Part Time Production Assistant Ranger Chocolate Co.

Ranger Chocolate Co. is seeking self-motivated, detail-oriented, and reliable individuals to support daily production on our automated chocolate line . This role works alongside the production and packaging departments. The Production Assistant plays a critical part in keeping our fast-paced manufacturing operations running smoothly. Automated Line Production Assistants help ensure chocolate products are produced, inspected, and prepared for packaging to meet Ranger s high standards of quality and consistency.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can stay focused in a dynamic environment, and is committed to maintaining accuracy, efficiency, and cleanliness throughout each shift.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor automated chocolate molding, depositing, and/or wrapping equipment under supervision.

  • Inspect products for quality, appearance, and proper weight as they come off the line.

  • Assist with feeding materials (chocolate, wrappers, packaging components) into automated machines.

  • Transfer finished product from the line to the packaging team for final wrapping and packing.

  • Perform basic machine adjustments or troubleshooting as directed by the Line Lead.

  • Maintain pace with a fast-moving production line while keeping safety and accuracy at the forefront.

  • Support the team with additional production tasks, staging materials, and line cleanup as needed and if the automated line is not running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Follow established procedures to ensure products meet quality, food safety, and branding requirements.

  • Record simple production data (counts, weights, lot codes) as needed.

  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to GMPs and sanitation guidelines.

  • Monitor production supplies and communicate when restocking is needed.

  • Work efficiently to meet output goals while maintaining consistency and attention to detail.

  • Assist with end-of-shift cleaning, equipment wipe-downs, and preparation for the next production run.

  • Arrive on time and ready to work as scheduled, contributing to a dependable and respectful team culture.

  • Comfort working around automated food manufacturing equipment (training provided).

  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.

  • Positive attitude, good hygiene, and respect for coworkers and the business.

Schedule & Requirements
  • Part-time positions available: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, 3 to 4 days weekly.

  • COVID vaccination is required for all employees in our facility.
