Job Description

An Atlanta law firm is looking to hire a Paralegal to support the firm's business immigration practice. This paralegal will handle the preparation and filing of various employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant matters. This paralegal will have the flexibility to work remote 2 days per week after a training period.

Duties:

• Independently handle a variety of nonimmigrant and immigrant cases (e.g., H-1B, TN, L-1, E-3, H-4, L-2, EAD, AP, I-140, I-485 AOS) for senior review.
• Lead the PERM process from intake to completion, developing strategies and tracking all milestones and deadlines.
• Utilize technology to organize and track case deadlines, prepare expiration reports, and support team-wide prioritization.
• Identify potential "red flags" and present issues to attorneys promptly.
• Manage client interactions with minimal oversight, explaining complex immigration concepts and offering strategic solutions.
• Oversee complex projects, ensuring timely completion.

Requirements:

• A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in business/employment-based immigration
• Strong technology skills
• Excellent attention to detail
• Ability to work well within a team
