Nestled on the shores of Lady Bird Lake, in the heart of downtown Austin is Hyatt Regency Austin - where caring for people to be their best is our purpose and the foundation of all that we do! We are in search of a professional and reliable Security Officer tojoin our fantastic Security Team!
The Security Officer is responsible for the oversight of the safety and security of the hotel guests and employees. The ideal candidate will follow safety and security standards and will have refined written and oral communication skills as they will need to complete incident reports as required.
Open availability including weekends and holidays is required for this role. Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances. Previous Security/Loss Prevention experience is plus.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.
Refined verbal and written communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk moderate distances
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
Proficient in basic computer skills
Previous security experience preferred
