Job Title: Machinist III

Location: Skaneateles, NY

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM 

Pay Rate: $27–$30/hr 



Job Summary
The Machinist III will operate CNC machinery to produce precision parts and components. This role requires strong technical skills in machining and programming, as well as the ability to interpret engineering documents and maintain quality standards.



Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines to meet production specifications.
• Read and interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Calculate and set controls for machining factors such as speed, feed, coolant flow, depth, and angle of cut.
• Input, retrieve, and edit computerized machine control programs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of CNC machining experience.
• CNC programming background required.
• Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD.
• Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
