Job Type:**Full-Time
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (1st Shift)
Locations:Middletown, OH
As a Machinist, you'll be at the heart of our operations, responsible for machining ferrous and non-ferrous materials within tolerance specifications. You'll utilize your expertise to interpret instructions and blueprints, as well as operate a range of equipment, including:
Manual and CNC lathes and mills
Horizontal and vertical boring mills
Horizontal saws
Overhead cranes
Forklifts
And more
Education:
Experience:
3-5 years of machine shop experience, ideally in a hydraulics industry setting
Experience in other industries will also be considered
Skills:
Proficiency with precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, thread gauges, and indicators
CNC and manual tooling experience will be required
Attributes:
Strong attention to detail
Good judgment
Ability to read and interpret blueprints
Lifting/Carrying: 40 lbs. lift/carry and 50 lb. pull
Repetitive Motions: Frequent movement requiring hands, wrists, and fingers
Dexterity: Normal
Frequent standing/sitting and movement up and down stairs
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible
