The Role

As the IT Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for sustaining and troubleshooting the networked devices and cloud-connected infrastructure that power our products and teams. You're a hands-on technical leader who works with our robot engineers and outside contractors to expand and maintain the infrastructure that enables our business. You will focus on systems-level thinking and allocate resources appropriately to support our products and users, as well as develop the next set of tools needed to grow at scale. 

What You’ll Do

  • Maintain and expand the organization's IT infrastructure
  • Evaluate and implement projects that result in increased organizational efficiencies across all of Information and Data needs
  • Manage our 24/7 IT support for both products and people.
  • Iterate quickly without compromising quality and raise the bar on operational excellence
  • Influence key decisions on architecture and implementation of scalable, reliable, and cost-effective engineering

Requirements

  • Associate Certification or BS in Computer Science, IT, Networking,  or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of experience in IT as Systems Administrator
  • Proficiency with Linux, Windows, Mac OS
  • Scripting in Bash and Python
  • Networking, including wifi, IP routing, VPN, VLAN, VPCs, routers, firewalls.
  • Cloud services such as AWS and GCP
  • Google Workspace administration
  • Slack administration
  • Vendor management
  • Experience using a ticket system to manage work and track system changes
  • Documentation of systems, processes, and procedures
  • Training and technical guidance for end users (technical and non-technical)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently
  • Customer service orientation
  • Available to work onsite daily in Pasadena, CA

Compensation 

$80,000-$105,000  + Benefits

The stated compensation range reflects only the targeted base salary range for candidates residing in the Los Angeles Metro area and excludes additional earnings such as bonus and benefits. If your salary requirements fall outside of the range, we still encourage you to apply.
