Intermediate Interior Designer Job in New York, NY

Intermediate Interior Designer job available with an interior design firm in New York that is renowned for their work in commercial interiors, workplace strategy, interior architecture, and branded environments. Due to an expanding pipeline of work, they are now looking to grow their team with an intermediate interior designer, offering $80,000 - $120,000 plus hybrid working, bonus potential, 401(k), and more!

Established over 60 years ago, this practice has links across the US and covers all aspects of architectural planning, interior design, and brand development for commercial projects of all sizes. You will be joining a vibrant and highly enthusiastic team with a strong work ethic to deliver some of the best projects across the workplace and commercial sectors.

Role & Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of design, from concept through to completion
• Concept design and development, including mood boards, spatial assessments, renders, and design packages
• On-site assessments and client meetings
• FF&E selection and specification
• Assist with mentoring and leading junior members of the team
• Liaising with consultants and vendors.

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree qualified, or higher, in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or similar
• 7+ years within corporate interior design
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator), and MS Office
• Experience creating and understanding project documentation
• FF&E experience
• Knowledge of building codes and ADA requirements
• Licensure or CID, IIDA, ASID, LEED, preferred but not required.
