Job Description

Talis Group’s company client is hiring a Senior Corporate Paralegal to join their team in the Louisville office. The qualified candidate will have experience with corporate governance and general corporate law matters, with real estate and contract law experience a plus. The position will report to Vice President of the company. This position is full-time on site with a full-benefits package. Salary is $70,000-$90,000.

Highlighted Responsibilities:

• Annual filings of Disclosure Documents (FDD),
• Drafting and processing franchise documents
• Maintaining corporate minute books, completing Secretary of State filings
• Drafting corporate governance documents, purchase agreements, service agreements and closing documents, as well as redlining vendor contracts.
• Work with CLO and outside counsel on trademark applications

Highlighted Requirements:

• 5+ years Paralegal experience in corporate law, transactional/ contract law is required.
• Previous experience in drafting corporate governance documents, purchase agreements, service agreements and closing documents
• Previous experience with secretary of state filings.
• Strong communication and organizational skills needed
• MS Office Suite and other technology experience desired
• Attention to detail is required
