Job Description
Description The Housekeeping Room Attendant will be responsible for performing all daily tasks associated with housekeeping duties for cleaning guest rooms.
• Cleaning and resetting guest bedroom and bathroom areas
• Changing linens, making beds, organizing collateral on tables, straightening furniture, dusting and vacuuming of rooms, emptying trash
• Restock all guest room supplies, such as soap and shampoo.
• Greet all guests with a friendly smile
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties, including but not limited to, guest supplies, cleaning supplies, and linen for housekeeping cart set-up
• Keep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumed
• Restock housekeeping cleaning cart for next day's use.
• Replenish chemical bottles
• Report all missing items from room (i.e., irons/boards, hair dryers, etc.) to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager
• Report any maintenance repairs immediately to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle items for "Lost and Found" according to the Hotel's standards
• All other tasks and duties as assigned
Qualifications • At least one year of experience in a hotel housekeeping department
