Job Description

Salary: $95,000 - 130,000 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with 13 years of relevant experience or a Masters degree coupled with 5+ years in the field
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with CI Polygraph
• Willingness to travel approximately 25% of the time depending on client needs
• Reside in the St. Louis, Missouri or Norfolk, Virginia region with onsite availability all week
• IAT Level III certification (CASP, CISA, CISSP, GCED, or GCIH)
• Over 8 years of experience in Endpoint Protection, Windows OS, and Linux OS
• Knowledgeable in Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs)
• Must have legal authorization to work in the U.S. without any future employer sponsorship needs

• Conduct Independent Verification and Validation (IV&V) for cybersecurity WAN risk assessments
• Evaluate cybersecurity posture of enterprise environments within the Intelligence Community (IC)
• Perform thorough technical assessments and manual audits on security controls across enterprise endpoints, servers, and workstations
• Analyze system configurations, firewalls, endpoint detection and response tools, antivirus solutions, and application whitelisting practices
• Ensure compliance with IC Directives, STIGs, and NIST 800-53 Rev 5 controls
• Conduct manual reviews of host security settings to identify vulnerabilities and propose mitigation strategies
• Collaborate with system administrators and security teams to clarify findings and support remediation actions
• Mentor junior staff in host-based security tasks
• Stay informed about evolving security threats and mitigation strategies
• Participate in planning, executing, and reporting phases of inspections with limited supervision, and prepare comprehensive technical reports
• Travel as required for onsite inspections at IC facilities, typically averaging 8-12 weeks annually
