They are seeking a Financial Analyst who thrives in a fast?paced, dynamic environment. This role is ideal for new graduates who bring strong soft skills—such as communication, adaptability, critical thinking, and professionalism—as these are central to success. While the team is highly supportive and willing to train, they need someone who can analyze information quickly, adjust to shifting priorities, and manage a large portfolio of accounts with accuracy and confidence.
Job Description In this role, you will support end?to?end customer issue resolution within the U.S. Customer Operations group. You will analyze customer payment behaviors, research delinquencies, and review creditworthiness to identify root causes and recommend preventative actions. Working independently, you will conduct collection activities on past?due accounts within established credit policies through phone, email, and written communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Researching and analyzing customer?specific payments, delinquencies, and credit data to identify issues and implement process improvements.
- Partnering with internal teams such as Sales and Customer Operations to resolve delinquent accounts and support business objectives.
- Performing rigorous collection activity to drive resolution and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Conducting in?depth analysis of accounts receivable items and implementing effective resolution strategies.
- Building credibility and trust with customers through timely, accurate reporting and issue resolution.
- Managing a high?volume portfolio of 400–500 accounts while making quick, informed decisions in a fast?paced environment.
- Adjusting to rapidly changing tasks, workflows, and priorities from one day to the next.
Qualifications Required - Strong soft skills, including communication, adaptability, professionalism, and critical thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast?paced environment with frequent changes and shifting priorities.
- Skills in accounts receivable, customer service, financial analysis, collections, and continuous process improvement.
- Ability to analyze customer behavior and account trends to recommend effective solutions.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred - Direct experience in B2B collections or accounts receivable dispute management.
- Knowledge of financial statement analysis, negotiation principles, and credit or financial counseling.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI reporting.
- Experience participating in Lean Sigma or cross?functional improvement projects.
- Demonstrated initiative in process improvement and change management.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, communication, or a related field (degree preferred but not required).
- Two years of combined experience in finance, accounting, customer service, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or similar roles within a private, public, government, or military environment (preferred, not required; new grads encouraged to apply).
