Job Description

As a Finance Manager at Nagish, you will be the cornerstone of our financial operations, ensuring effective cash management, budgeting, and financial governance across all aspects of the company. You will work alongside our CEO, accounting firms, auditors, and other internal teams to optimize financial strategies, manage vendor relationships, and ensure compliance with financial regulations. 

On a day-to-day, you will:

• Lead vendor relationships and optimize payment terms and strategies
• Manage financial governance, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all regulations
• Maintain financing modeling, forecasting, and internal auditing of company books
• Work closely with external stakeholders and finance teams to ensure timely and complete audits
• Provide all necessary materials for external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process
• Handle cap table management, equity calculations, and option pool allocations
• Collaborate with our accountants on annual tax reporting, ensuring all tax filings are accurate and completed on time
• Manage cash flow optimization, investment strategy, and risk management to ensure the best possible returns
• Develop and allocate budgets for departments and initiatives, ensuring resources are aligned with company needs

REQUIREMENTS

• Proven experience as a Finance Manager, Senior Controller, Financial Auditor, or similar role working in a growing startup company. 
• Strong knowledge of financial modeling, forecasting, and budgeting
• Experience managing vendor relationships and negotiating payment terms
• Ability to manage and optimize cash flow, investments, and risk management strategies
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, and experience with audits and bookkeeping.
• Proficient in financial management software and platforms such as Quickbooks and Brex.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Due to team collaboration needs, this role requires working hours aligned with the Eastern time zone. Candidates located in other time zones may not be considered at this time.
• The base salary range for this full-time position is $120,000 – $220,000 per year. Final compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
