Job Description

Join a supportive and growing team in the mortgage industry! In this role, you will assist borrowers in identifying the best loan options for their needs, complete loan applications, and gather essential documentation such as pay stubs, tax returns, and bank statements. You'll also review credit reports and collaborate with key stakeholders such as appraisers, title officers, and underwriters to guide clients smoothly through the mortgage loan process.

Key Responsibilities:

Originate mortgage loans through self-driven efforts, corporate referrals, and other marketing campaigns.
Interview applicants to understand their financial goals and recommend the best products, terms, and pricing options.
Collect and analyze client documents, including income, assets, and credit reports, to assess mortgage loan eligibility.
Submit complete loan applications to processing and underwriting teams for approval after conducting preliminary reviews.
Ensure all necessary documents are collected on time for processing, underwriting, and closing.
Take initiative in daily marketing efforts, with the expectation of generating 4+ loans per month.
Assist clients by answering calls and addressing inquiries.
Meet team and individual sales/production goals and performance targets.

Qualifications:

Active NMLS license is required.
3-5 years of experience as a loan originator or in a similar role.
A high school diploma is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple loans and priorities at once.
Ability to analyze and interpret complex financial data.
Professional demeanor with effective interpersonal skills.
Self-motivated and results-driven.
Strong ethical standards in all interactions with clients, colleagues, and partners.
Must be able to work the required hours of operation.
