Job Description Our client is seeking a skilled
Emergency Center RN to join a brand-new Level 2 trauma unit, providing high-quality professional nursing care for assigned patients. This role involves patient assessment, developing and implementing care plans, and evaluating outcomes. The ideal candidate will deliver top-tier care that aligns with the hospital’s core mission and values. This is an urgent hiring opportunity for all shifts, with 12-hour shifts available.
Responsibilities - Perform all job responsibilities in alignment with organizational values, mission, and vision.
- Maintain current knowledge in areas of responsibility through self-education and attending educational programs.
- Attend staff meetings and complete mandatory in-services and competency evaluations.
- Provide care to patients of all ages, demonstrating competency based on patient needs.
- Follow hospital and departmental attendance and punctuality guidelines.
- Wear protective clothing and equipment as necessary.
Must-Haves - Associate Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) (or must obtain within 1 year of hire).
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a current Georgia license.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) (must be obtained within 6 months of hire).
- Basic Life Support (BLS).
- Advanced Stroke Life Support (ASLS) (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification (must be obtained within 2 years of hire).
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions, with basic computer proficiency.
- 1-2 years of ER experience
Nice To Haves - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from a state-accredited school.
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
Base salary: $37-46/hour
- Critical care pay: $5/hour
- Night shift differential: $5/hour
- Weekend shift differential: $3.50/hour
Location: Albany, GA
Benefits - Relocation assistance: Up to $10,000
