As the Team Development & Strategy Assistant , you'll play a key role in supporting the planning, communication, and organizational development of our growing team. This is an ideal opportunity for someone interested in nonprofit leadership, operations, organizational strategy , or internal communications , with room for professional growth in team building and strategic planning.
Assist with planning and facilitating team meetings, training sessions, and strategy retreats
Support internal communication efforts including newsletters, updates, and onboarding materials
Help organize professional development activities, mentorship opportunities, and staff appreciation efforts
Coordinate scheduling, agendas, and follow-up for leadership or strategy meetings
Contribute to team culture initiatives that promote inclusion, wellness, and collaboration
Track project timelines, team goals, and performance benchmarks
Provide administrative support for strategic projects and internal reporting
Interest in organizational development, internal communications, or nonprofit management
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in a team environment
Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality when needed
Experience with Google Workspace, project management tools (e.g. Trello, Asana), and collaboration platforms is a plus
Prior experience (internship, volunteer, or student leadership role) in team coordination or program support is helpful

Firsthand experience in organizational strategy and team development within a mission-focused agency
