People First in Sierra Vista Local Team Collaboration - Join Canyon Vista Medical Center’s close-knit team of eight physicians and five advanced practice providers (APPs).
- Work alongside a diverse group of clinicians who bring a variety of geographic, educational, and training backgrounds to our team. Our physician assistants practice to the top of their scope, with support from attending physicians when needed.

Qualifications - Certification required
- Emergency medicine experience preferred
- New grads with previous emergency medicine experience welcome to apply.
Practice in the Heart of the Community Flexible Scheduling - 12 hour shifts
- We’re always there to support each other when covering shifts.
Key Responsibilities - Provide care in a smaller, community-based hospital with a level III trauma designation.
- Annual ED visits 10,000.
- Manage a variety of emergency cases, including triage and fast-track patients.
- Collaborate closely with Sound’s hospital medicine team to ensure a seamless transition of care.
- Work within a multidisciplinary environment supported by 24/7 specialty coverage, including cardiology with a cath lab, general surgery, obstetrics, orthopedics with spine care, neurology (with telestroke support), psychiatry (with an on-site inpatient behavioral health unit), oncology, and nephrology with dialysis capabilities in the ICU.
