Responsible for the operation of the dishwashing machine and the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Responsible for washing all China, glassware, silverware, pots, pans and other items used in the restaurant, kitchen and banquet department.
• Responsible for breakdown of all boxes, emptying trash containers into the dumpster and cleaning all containers.
• Clean walls in the kitchen as appropriate; especially in dish room area. Clean floor mats, sweeps and mop the entire kitchen floor daily.
• Ensure the dish machine is operating effectively and reading at the appropriate temperature.
• Assist with unloading and organizing shipments.
• Perform all other duties as deemed necessary by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Able to carry and move items weighing up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to bend, twist, lift and stand for the shift worked.
