Position Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager/Estimator to join our team at Baron Contracting. This individual will play a key role in managing and estimating various projects, ensuring their successful completion within budget and timeline. This is a fast-paced and dynamic position that requires strong leadership and organizational skills, as well as a strong understanding of project management and estimating principles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of assigned projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Develop accurate cost estimates through thorough analysis of project specifications and resources required

• Coordinate with clients, subcontractors, and other team members to ensure project requirements are well-understood and executed accordingly

• Monitor and track project progress, identify potential issues and recommend solutions to keep projects on track

• Review and approve subcontractor invoices and ensure that project costs are within budget

• Stay updated on industry standards and trends, as well as company policies and processes, to continuously improve project management and estimating capabilities

• Communicate project updates and progress to clients and stakeholders in a timely and professional manner

• Ensure that all projects comply with safety regulations and company standards

• Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to junior team members as needed

Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in project management/estimating

• Proven track record of successfully managing and estimating multiple projects simultaneously

• In-depth knowledge of project management principles, including cost estimating, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation

• Experience working with project management software, such as Procore, PlanGrid, or MS Project preferred

• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members towards project goals

• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively collaborate with different stakeholders

• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices within the construction industry

• Residential and commercial construction experience preferred

• Experienced in pulling permits and dealing with inspectors

• Bachelor's degree preferred
