1 Full-Time Position / 40 hours a week
The Classroom Aides at URS implement and carry out lesson plans and activities in childcare classrooms. Assist with creating an inviting, child-oriented classroom, developmentally and age appropriate. Provide personal care to children of all age groups as needed (feeding, toileting, etc.). Complete required classroom and state mandated documentation in a timely manner.
CDA or Associate in ECE or a closely related field required. Previous childcare experience is also required. Experience with children with disabilities or special needs in a childcare setting preferred. The ability to lift up to 60 pounds is a requirement for this position. Must maintain a valid Ohio Driver’s License and follow Agency insurance carrier requirements. Certification in CPR, First Aid, Child Abuse Training and Communicable Diseases must be completed prior to your employment. Training hours as required by licensing, Step Up to Quality and United Rehabilitation Services must also be completed annually.
