Description
CEC Controls is looking for an CAD Operator to join our team near Atlanta, Georgia (GA). Candidate will be working on control systems in the Automotive Industry, Fiberglass Industry and Shingle Industry. This is an on-site position but will require some travel during start-up periods.
Major Duties & Responsibilities
- Use AutoCad Electrical software to generate controls schematics for companies like Ford, General Motors, Stellantis, Owens Corning, Certainteed and Knauf.
- Use Microsoft Excel to create Ford's Safety Placarding
- Generate Cable labels and order device tags.
- Travel onsite during startup periods to handle any CAD Issues & Assist in Field Startups.
Minimum Skills & Abilities
- Detail-oriented, professional attitude, good communication, team player, self-starter
- Strong work ethic, interpersonal communication/writing skills and desire to learn
- Ability to work independently and with a team
- Base knowledge and ability to read electrical schematics.
Minimum Education & Experience
- 2-5 years of experience in the drafting/design of electrical control systems.
- Must have proficiency in AutoCAD
- E-Plan experience would be a plus.
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Excel
