Job Title: Business Systems Analyst

Location: Boston, MA Seaport (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)

Work Type: Hybrid (No relocation candidates)

Job Type: Contract-to-Hire (6 12+ months, possible full-time conversion)

Rate: $65/hr on W2 (Parking cost offset: add $2 $3/hr if commuting)

Position Overview: We are looking for a Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in analyzing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and supporting decision-making to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within our travel business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization, including product, operations, sales, and customer service teams, to understand business needs and translate them into actionable analysis.
  • Conduct data analysis, identify trends, and provide recommendations for business improvements and new opportunities in the travel sector.
  • Develop, document, and manage business requirements for new systems, processes, and product features.
  • Design and implement business process improvements to optimize DW operations in conjunction with the marketing team, Call center and BI Analytics.
  • Support project management by providing business analysis expertise during project planning, implementation, and post-launch phases.

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or data warehousing environments.
  • Bachelor s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (Excel, SQL, or data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI or Python).
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to business challenges.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with the travel industry would be a big plus.
  • Understanding of emerging trends in the travel industry, including digital transformation, personalization, and customer loyalty.
  • Collaborated with cross-functional teams to plan, execute, and interpret A/B tests, ensuring statistical validity and actionable outcomes.
