Job Description

Salary: $72,800 - 79,040 per year Requirements:

  • We are seeking a candidate who will possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Some familiarity with ERP systems, EDI, CRM, databases, or data analysis tools is advantageous.
  • Foundational knowledge of business processes such as finance, operations, or supply chain.
  • Intermediate expertise in Microsoft Power BI for report generation and dashboard creation.
  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL and relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL, or PostgreSQL).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on detail.
  • Effective communication skills that enable collaboration across departments and the clear explanation of data concepts.
  • A strong desire to learn and the capability to excel in a collaborative, fast-paced work environment.
Responsibilities:
  • In the role of Associate Business Analyst, you will engage in various functions that include, but are not limited to:
  • 1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
  • - Assist in the collection and documentation of business requirements from stakeholders through interviews, workshops, and meetings.
  • - Support the creation and upkeep of business process documentation, workflows, and user stories.
  • - Cultivate an understanding of essential business functions such as operations, finance, and supply chain.
  • 2. ERP & Business Application Support:
  • - Aid in maintaining and testing updates to ERP and other integrated business systems.
  • - Assist with data entry, validation, and reporting activities within ERP systems.
  • - Help assess enhancement requests and document potential process improvements for review by senior team members.
  • - Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Applications team to comprehend system functionalities and dependencies.
  • - Assist in maintaining EDI integration mappings and onboarding of customers and suppliers.
  • 3. Reporting & Analytics:
  • - Help create and sustain operational and analytical reports using Microsoft Power BI and related tools.
  • - Support data extraction and manipulation under the guidance of senior analysts using SQL or other query tools.
  • - Aid in identifying data trends and preparing summaries for internal stakeholders.
  • 4. Process & Data Analysis:
  • - Participate in analyzing existing workflows to pinpoint inefficiencies and opportunities for enhancement.
  • - Assist in modeling and documenting business processes using standard methodologies.
  • - Support the design of new or improved processes under supervision.
  • 5. Testing & Quality Assurance:
  • - Contribute to the development and execution of test cases to validate system changes and enhancements.
  • - Document and communicate issues to senior team members for resolution.
  • - Help maintain data accuracy and integrity within business systems.
  • 6. End User Support & Training:
  • - Provide Tier I user support for business applications and systems.
  • - Assist in resolving user inquiries by researching known solutions and escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • - Help develop and deliver training materials and user guides.
  • 7. Continuous Learning & Improvement:
  • - Stay informed about system updates, emerging technologies, and best practices in business analysis.
  • - Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for enhancing internal processes.
  • - Demonstrate a growth mindset and eagerness to learn from senior analysts and cross-functional teams.
  • 8. Security & Compliance:
  • - Adhere to company security and data privacy guidelines in all work activities.
  • - Escalate data discrepancies or potential issues to senior team members.
  • 9. SQL & Data Management:
  • - Write and modify basic SQL queries to extract and review data.
  • - Support the creation of simple views, joins, and stored procedures under supervision.
  • - Learn best practices for maintaining data integrity and managing relationships between data tables.
